Sanctuary Alive

There’s a Price Tag on Righteousness

The Christian journey is narrow and difficult, and few are they that find it. You enter in at the gate of the sanctuary, and there are three compartments:  the courtyard, the Holy Place, and the Most Holy Place.  Which seems to be a mystery until you learn that they correspond to you personally in your body temple as physical, mental and spiritual.  Each realm belongs to its corresponding member of the Godhead—the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  It all ultimately teaches the character of God.

It is God’s plan to restore His original plan for mankind.  The blueprint for that plan is the sanctuary.  If I stick to the plan it will yield eternal life.  It can begin today as I behold the Messiah, the physical pattern given freely by God for the saving of the world. Yet look at the price tag God had to pay; He values you and me that much.  In conflict with Satan in the wilderness Jesus reveals the mental pattern in the Holy Place—“It is written”—which obeyed will lead to sacrificial love and persecution.  And there we see the price tag Jesus had to pay.  Before coming into this conflict as God for you and me, to represent the kingdom of God as only God is, physically He is omnipresent, mentally He is omniscient, and power-wise He is omnipotent.  Yet in this conflict, in His own words, He claims to be bruised in order to crush Satan.  He gives up His ability to be omnipresent.  “For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son”.  When you see what He calls a bruise for you and me and what He gave up to win our hearts, it crushes the sin out of our heart and we want to obey Him.  Jesus is a man today; a king with you and me as His kingdom.
Consider the price paid for our redemption and start anew, refreshed with the truth the Spirit of God can give you to day and you’ll be a “sanctuary alive”.  For truly “we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus”!
